A Chatham Rabbit Snow Day

It's no secret that we love a good snow day. School's out, the wood stove is roaring, and coffee is warming in the pot all day. Austin's been practicing Cherokee Shuffle (or is it Lost Indian??) on guitar and we've had Skaggs & Rice on repeat. Our power was out for a while but we made breakfast over the fire and layered up. We're both reading new-to-us books at the moment (The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey by Candice Millard and Blood Done Sign My Name: A True Story My Name by Tim Tyson) and they're better than Ozark could ever be. It's been so great. We even made the trecherous drive to the studio to work on a few things and shoot the breeze with Jerry. The perfection that is right outside our window at the moment is unreal. We've got 8" now.

Here's a look inside our little Bynum snow globe, if you'd like to see. . .
