Chatham Rabbits Patreon Campout!


September 20-21

4pm arrival on Saturday, noon departure on Sunday.

The address will be sent to your email prior to the event. We are located near Greensboro, NC.

Pay-what-you-can

What to bring:

  1. A chair

  2. A dish to share at the Potluck

  3. Beverages/cooler

  4. Supplies for dry camping

  5. A form of payment: cash/card/check/Venmo/Paypal/Cashapp

Camping:

  • This is primitive DRY camping; think festival camping!

  • We will have 2 portojohns and a spigot to rinse cups, brush teeth, etc.

  • Tents, pop-up campers, vans, and small pull behind capers are welcome.

  • We are unable to accomodate RVs and Fifth Wheels.

  • Camping spots will be in our large front pasture.

Parking:

Follow signs for parking when you arrive. We will have someone directing traffic.

Please notify the gate attendant if you are parking for the day or camping overnight.

The venue is .2 miles up the pasture hill from the main parking area so please be prepared to walk.

There is very limited handicap parking. Please let us know in advance if you need handicap parking.

The venue is not open ahead of time -- please plan to arrive no earlier than 4pm.

Safety and Rain Plan:

This is a working farm with large animals, electric fences, etc. Please be aware and careful.

Do not open any closed gates without explicit permission.

Parents are responsible for their children.

In the event of torrential rain, we will reschedule. We will notify attendees by 1pm on September 20.

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Welcome! Set up camp, meet the animals, take a walk around the farm

Take your time setting up your tent, have a beer, pet the horses. Relax and get ready for a fun time :)

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Potluck Supper - bring a dish to share

Please bring a dish to share. We'll supply the cutlery, plates and napkins.

7:00 PM - 7:30 PM

New Album First Listen!

We'll gather at the Burrow to listen through our new album, start to finish. (!!!)

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

New Album Q+ A

We'll answer questions and talk through the writing and recording process with our producer Saman Khoujinian. Feel free to ask us anything!

8:30 PM - 9:00 PM

S'mores

Enjoy s'mores around the campfire! We'll have a couple of different fire pits set up.

Outdoor Movie - School of Rock

We're renting an outdoor screen and projector so we can all watch the early 2000s classic music movie "School of Rock."

We're cooking breakfast for y'all! We'll have coffee, local eggs, Bravo Steaks bacon, toast and fruit.

Chatham Rabbits Performance

We're going to play a few originals and lots of sing-a-long classics. A feel good Sunday morning to wrap up the weekend.

Pack up and head home

We recommend The Sage Mule or 'Cile and 'Scoe if you're looking for lunch before you head out of town. Thank you so much for coming to the campout!

FAQ

  • Dry camping supplies, dish to share for supper, folding chair, form of payment.

  • Yes! Like most Chatham Rabbits events, this is an all-ages gathering. Please be mindful of your children -- this is a working farm with large animals and electric fences. Adults, please have fun but remember tiny ears may be around.

  • Unfortunately not :( No Dogs or other animals allowed (so very sorry!) ADA recognized Service Animals are allowed but only those trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.

  • Absolutely. If you'd prefer to not sleep on the ground, feel free to just join us for the activities. There are several great options on Airbnb - search Greensboro and Pleasant Garden.

  • We will have two portajohns set up near The Burrow. We have running water beside the horse stables for brushing teeth, washing hands, rinsing cups, etc.
